$$$ Is it the beginning of the end? $$$

Here in Ukraine food prices jumped very high, our national bank head says they printed a lot of national currency (UAH) to buy out the dollar, so the cross-course between USD and UAH stays the same, as we have our currency tied to the USD.

Today I've received the news, that situation is the same in Russia, they have tons of RUR printed, to buy out the USD, to keep the course stable. The prices for main food positions increased about 80% in September.

Voice communication review

While working with foreign party, some may be confused by the distance.

But today communication is easy and cheap.
One way well known is e-mail. Then there is instant messaging. This are well used and I won't cover them here.

To be honest, I'm not playing either pool or Russian billiards much lately.

Money transfer to Ukraine

While working with foreign customers, being in Ukraine the money transfer question becomes vital.

First I've hosted at godaddy.com. I've spent $20 on 3 domains for 1 year + better then basic shared hosting account for a month. Feeling happy I was, having bought all the goodies to play with later. But not for long:

  • DB servers are lagging badly
  • Control panel is weird and cumbersome
  • No shell access
  • No unzip ability
  • no CRON

Henry Ford's books

I'm reading book about the H. Ford's vision of life and work, it's all based on his books. As I like to have the best information possible, I'm trying to get to the sources of information to see for myself and not to rely completely on other's vision.

My homepage

After long time being used to other's websites I finally set my own.

I've been struggling with choices for some time now... Starting the website for my company is slow, as I've tried to put too much features for starter. Now I've finally decided to skip all the fancy features, design and start up small. After all it is content which matters the most.

As to my personal blog (this page). I think I'll start with Russian version for starters and will use the Drupal...
